Bob has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge

First Group 1 win

The above photograph is Bob's first Group 1 win.

He went over 50 standard schnauzers in the supported entry to win Best of Breed, and then got a Group 1 and went to the best-in-show ring! Bob ended up as the Number 8 Standard Schnauzer in 2010. He earned his Grand Championship in 2010 and his Grand Championship Bronze in early 2011.

GCH Avignon's Buffalo Soldier, CGC, TT, stands at stud to approved females. He finished his AKC Grand Championship in September. His son "Chance" finished his AKC Championship on September 19, at the Chattanooga Kennel Club show. His daughter, "Gigi,"  finished her championship October 3, 2010. Hi8 daughter "Dixie" in Tucson, Arizona, gathered 4 titles in 4 weekends, Fall, 2010: Rally Novice, Rally Advanced, CD, and CDX!

At home, Bob likes to run the agility course, watch movies, and spend quality time with his family. He visits nursing homes and hospice facilities to encourage the folks there. He is in training to be a reading dog and to visit elementary schools and listen to children read aloud to him.

His pedigree has "Pa," CH Parsival di Casa Netzer on both his dad's and his mom's side. "Pa" is the only Standard Schnauzer to win Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club. "Pa" was handled by Doug Holloway to BIS at Westminster. Doug Holloway recommended the acquisition of "Bob." CH Medrie's Designer's Choice was sent to be bred to Bob on Doug's recommendation and then "Bob" became available to us.

"Bob's" winning temperament goes back to CH Centara Pandora, owned by Mr. Horne of Maryland. "Bob" loves people and is a fine ambassador for the Standard Schnauzer breed. His puppies have good heads, solid angulation, wiry coats, and lovely temperaments.
